I am originally from Texas and moved to Louisiana to attend LSU. I graduated from LSU in 2008 with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. This is my 12th year of teaching. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade Gifted, and 5th Grade. I began my career in the Central Public School System. I had a calling to teach in the Catholic Diocese of Baton Rouge and am in my 6th year with the Diocese. I feel extremely blessed to be apart of such a strong Catholic community and am honored to serve. I am currently completing my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Nicholls University and will be graduating in 2020.

My husband Zach and I have two children. Caroline is 6 years old and is in Kindergarten here at MBS. Easton is 8 months old and will be going to St. Andrews in the Fall. My husband is a teacher at St. Michael High School. He teaches Engineering I & II and Computer Architecture. He is also the head track coach and assistant football coach. We are parishioners of MBS Catholic Church and strive to center our family life around our Catholic faith.

I am an avid runner and have completed 18 half-marathons (13.1 miles), 1 marathon (26.2 miles), and 1 triathlon (swim, bike, run). I run in as many local races as possible but it's even better when I get to travel for a race and visit new places. My favorite type of races are obstacle courses. If you ever need a running buddy, let me know! I am the MBS Pelican Pride Dance Line coach. This is my 4th year of coaching. I am a huge LSU baseball fan and my family and I attend as many games as possible every season.
